The owners of APAC have a long history in the agriculture industry in Asia. They pioneered the modern feed business in Asia starting with the Gold Coin group in 1959 and going on to build and lead that group through to the late ’90s.
APAC Commodities Singapore was formerly Intermilling Ltd, part of the Gold Coin group – one of the largest feed milling groups in Asia. APAC is a private business now owned by the former CEO & directors of Gold Coin. We specialise in agricultural commodities and in particular rice husk sourcing, brokering and selling to Asia and Europe; mainly to biomass (Co-gen and 100%) user power groups. Our rice husk is also purchased for animal bedding, composite material filling, wall paper, and soil replacement in horticulture. Our rice husk and other biomass product lines are managed by Mr P Moccand. Mr Lee Moh Hong is our GM and is additionally responsible for APACs other agricultural commodity lines.
